Job Description

This position is assigned specific duties and responsibilities pertaining to research activities by Principal Investigator or project leader. The person in this position provides analytical and processing support in the area of food science. Normally, performs research activities of an independent nature in a technical/scientifically specific realm. The nature of the duties are such that they require knowledge of an advance type in the field of science or learning, are predominately intellectual and varied in character, and require consistent exercise of discretion and judgment.

Required Education

An appropriate Master’s degree or an appropriate accredited Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of relevant training and experience.

Required Experience

No experience with a Master’s degree or 3 years related work experience with a Bachelor’s degree.

Preferred Education

A Bachelor’s degree in the life sciences is preferred.

Preferred Experience

Prefer candidate who has experience in chemistry or food science. Experience in technical research.

Must exhibit excellent communication skills in both written and verbal form including the ability to market and promote the value of the program to corporate stakeholders and commercial clients. Strong management skills are essential and a dedication to processing safety is preferred.
