The Department of Engineering Technology and Industrial Distribution (ETID) at Texas A&M University invites applications for non-tenure track faculty positions at the lecturer, senior lecturer, instructional professor, and professor of practice levels for academic year 2016-2017. All positions require teaching undergraduate courses related to engineering technology (electronic systems, manufacturing and mechanical, and mechatronics). The successful applicants will teach primarily undergraduate students, participate in all aspects of the department’s activities and serve the profession. Instructional track professors may also teach regular graduate courses and special topic seminars, as well as supervise graduate students in professional practicum experiences. Candidates must have undergraduate and graduate degrees in engineering, engineering technology or a closely related field. Applicants with master’s degrees with significant teaching and/or industrial experience will also be considered for these positions.
