The Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Texas A&M University invites applications for a tenured or tenure-track faculty position at the assistant, associate, or full professor level with expertise in the areas of computer engineering and systems (high performance computing, big data, and cyber security); electric power systems and power electronics; device science and nanotechnology; biomedical imaging, sensing and genomic signal processing; electromagnetics and microwaves; information science and systems; and analog and mixed signal will be considered. In addition to the technical expertise and a proven track record of academic excellence, candidates with interest and experience in promoting diversity on campus are especially encouraged to apply. The successful applicants will be required to teach; advise and mentor graduate students; develop an independent, externally funded research program; participate in all aspects of the department’s activities; and serve the profession.
