Job Description

The Program Specialist I, under general supervision, oversees programs, events, and activities while providing complex administrative and technical duties, as well as customer service, around the office.
Responsible for the day-to-day management of three combined programs: the NSF-REU (Research Experience for Undergraduates), NSF-NRT D3EM (NSF Research Traineeship) program as well as the newly established D3EM AFRL collaborative agreement. Involved the recruitment, advise, and management of cohorts of undergraduate and/or graduate students. Manage significant logistics as well as reporting responsibilities as the sponsoring agencies have diverse and extensive reporting requirements.
