Job Summary

The Department of Engineering Technology and Industrial Distribution (ETID) at Texas A&M University invites applications for academic professional track faculty positions at the lecturer, senior lecturer, instructional professor, and professor of practice levels for academic year 2017-2018. Applicants should be capable of teaching courses in one or more of the following areas: logistics and supply chain management, purchasing, quality, finance, industrial sales and marketing, leadership, strategic relationships and general industrial distribution. The successful applicants will teach primarily undergraduate students, participate in all aspects of the department’s activities and serve the profession. Instructional track professors may also teach regular graduate courses and special topic seminars, as well as supervise graduate students in professional practicum experiences. Strong written and verbal communication skills are required. All academic professional track position openings are subject to budgetary availability, student enrollment needs, programmatic needs and turnover rates.

Required Education and Experience

Candidates should have a PhD or master’s degree in engineering, supply chain management, industrial sales or closely related field. Applicants with a bachelor’s degree and significant industrial experience in discipline will also be considered for professor of practice positions. All openings are subject to budgetary availability.
