Job Description

Provides administrative support for several faculty and staff in the electric power systems area of the Electrical and Computer Engineering Department. Participates in the planning and execution of administrative operations. Reviews documents for faculty and staff in the electric power systems area. Attends meetings or committees on behalf of them. Analyzes requirements for projects or initiatives. Provides technical information regarding administrative procedures, services, or programs. Coordinates travel arrangements, prepares itineraries and travel reimbursement forms. Coordinates meetings, seminars, and other special events and may provide on-site support. Coordinates the maintenance of files, records, office supplies, or equipment. Hires, trains and supervises student workers and support staff. As requested by the faculty, provides assistance to the graduate students in the area, including assisting with travel arrangements and with travel reimbursement forms Other duties will be assigned as needed.

Bachelor’s degree in applicable field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
