Job Description

Coordinates daily activities and operations of the Biomedical Engineering Machine Shop and Prototyping Laboratory. Supervises the set-up, installation and procurement of shop and lab equipment, and procures supplies for exercises and experiments; develops and updates instructional materials for instruction in the shop and prototyping lab; develops and maintains standard operating procedures for the shop and prototyping lab; oversees the maintenance of shop and laboratory facilities, equipment and instrumentation and arranges for repairs as needed; maintains inventory supplies and records; develops procedures for the use of shop and laboratory instrumentation; supervises chemical storage, performs other duties as assigned.
