Job Summary

The Harold Vance Department of Petroleum Engineering at Texas A&M University invites applications for a tenured or tenure-track faculty position at the assistant, associate, or full professor level with expertise in in the application of machine learning and data analytics to develop data-driven insights into petroleum reservoirs, as well as applicants from all areas of specialization in petroleum engineering and with research interests cutting across multiple disciplines. The successful applicants will be required to teach; advise and mentor graduate students; develop an independent, externally funded research program; participate in all aspects of the department’s activities; and serve the profession.
